Rebecca qualified as a chartered physiotherapist in 1997,
graduating with an honours degree from the Bath school of Physiotherapy. She
gained a broad experience as a junior physiotherapist at the Ipswich Hospital
working on the medical, care of the elderly, orthopaedic, surgical, obs and
gynae and neurology wards before becoming a senior physiotherapist working in
the Ipswich Hospitals outpatient department. During a career break in which Rebecca had her 4 children, she continued
to work for the Ipswich Rheumatoid Arthritis group. In 2010 Rebecca studied Reflexology at The
Collette School of Reflexology This
built on her biomechanical knowledge of the human body and broadened her
knowledge in all of the body systems to gain an in depth knowledge of the
bodies response to pain, injury and diseases. She set up The Therapy Room in September 2010 providing a physiotherapy,
reflexology and massage service. Her aim is to treat her clients with empathy
and compassion, understanding all of the clients needs and treating the cause
of the problem rather than temporarily alleviating the symptoms.
